I graduated with degree in English Philology from the University of Barcelona in 2011. During my last semester, I did an internship for the online magazine lamono, translating posts about art and fashion from Spanish to English. Later that year, I moved to London.
In 2012, I started working in the Operations department of Dinosaur Merchant Bank, later going on to lead its Compliance and Client Services department. As the point of contact between the firm and its Spanish-speaking customers, I gained experience translating financial documents and business contracts from English into Spanish. While in London, I also worked on the transcription and translation of Londombia, a documentary about Colombian immigrants in London, and completed other projects for private clients and companies like Cooper Murphy.
In 2015, I moved back to Barcelona and worked in the Overseas Operations department of Across Logistics for a few months, where I learned more about international trade.
